More houses of worship are returning to normal operations, but in-person attendance is unchanged since fall
This report from Pew Research Center from March of 2022 shows houses of worship across the U.S. are increasingly returning to in-person worship, now that COVID cases are on the decline. Just 5% say their congregation is still completely closed to in-person worship. However, church attendance has plateaued, as has the share of adults watching religious services online or on TV.
