Most Churches Have Stopped Gathering, Few Plan to Meet on Easter
This first Lifeway survey released on April 2 queried 400 Protestant pastors in an online survey from March 30-31, weighting church attendance, region, pastor ethnicity, and evangelical/mainline. Only 8% of respondents report that their church had not provided any video or livestreamed sermon or service, and only 3% said they would have an in-person Easter service “no matter what.” Included open-ended responses from respondents as well.
