Religion and the Pandemic
While the pandemic persists, life in religious congregations is showing signs of slowly returning to normal. Nearly a quarter of adults attend weekly religious services in-person, up from 5% in the spring of 2020. This 2021 poll by the The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research at The University of Chicago also shows Americans’ faith in God remains strong and a majority believe is telling humanity to change how it is living and that God is protecting them from being infected.
