Regularly attending religious services associated with lower risk of deaths of despair
A study by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health reveals that attending religious services can, literally, be life-saving. Those who attend a worship service at least once a week are less likely to die from “deaths of despair,” which includes suicide and drug and alcohol abuse.
